Banana Yoghurt

Hi there! You might wonder why I created a page about banana yoghurt. Let me explain!

It's very hard to find banana yoghurt in Austria. I have been looking for months and months but couldn't find one in the main supermarket chains. It was only available together with some müsli. And buying that when I don't want the müsli isn't very ideal either. What am I gonna do with all the müsli? So, I hoped that one day, I would find a standalone banana yoghurt.

Recently, I was grocery shopping and checking out the yoghurt section. Low and behold, I finally found what I was looking for: a banana yoghurt! Of course, I had to buy it.

Review: Zott Banana Yoghurt

Let's go over the ingredients:

mild cream yoghurt
bananas*
sugar
modified starch
aroma
*8% fruit content in product

Unsurprisingly, it tastes like banana. It's a bit different from that sweetened banana yoghurt with müsli. It also contains some banana-like parts, not quite chunks, but distinctivly different from the yoghurt. I am not sue yet if I like them, but I can tolerate it. I would say a very good 7/10
